Katasha Jarvis Recognized as GNAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. ? Senior Katasha Jarvis from Regis College has been honored as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her impressive performance in a recent match. Jarvis played a crucial role in leading the team to an 8-1 victory over Albertus Magnus, marking their fifth consecutive win.
In doubles, she partnered with Ariana McCormack to secure a close 8-6 win against the opposing top team. Jarvis then dominated her singles match, winning without dropping a game (6-0, 6-0), contributing to Regis's success in four singles matches without losing a game. As the only senior on the team, she has tied the school record for most career singles victories and achieved notable milestones in doubles as well.
Regis head coach Andy White praised Jarvis for her perseverance and dedication throughout her career. This recognition follows a previous GNAC Player of the Week award from her teammate, Carly Donovan, as the Pride continue their season with upcoming matches.
